I do, they go in the rear wheel well between frame/body, helps keep bs from getting in-between frame/body as well as being able to see the gap..

Finally emptied the garage so I can complete my front end retro swap (97 back to 92).
I ordered the 4000e fog lights off Ebay last week.

Is that stuff oil resistant? I've been looking to do this with something from Metro Rubber, but this looks like it would look pretty cool and not require mail order!

Oil resistant? IDK, Will it last as long as the original? I doubt it.Well, the material cost me 7 bucks and I have enough to make another set. I can tell you the material is a vinyl/plastic and easy to cut. If you want something closer to OEM, someone posted a link that advertised 120 dollar replacements, but when I checked their fitment listings, they got a little sketchy. I am keeping an eye out for some of that real heavy transparent vinyl they use on dock doors to keep A/C inside. I think clear would be a nice touch when pulling starter or oil filter.

Good points, plus it takes a lot of $7s to build up to an alternator... Metro used to have sheets they advertised for this type of application, not too pricey, but they disappeared. I figured i would call when the time came but maybe I'll just get some diamond plate for now.

Received heater hoses and exhaust gasket for Hector. Hoping to be back in my truck by Christmas.
