Rockauto, Amazon or local U-pullit yards are where I go.

I was just reading up on rockauto's return policy. I could not find a policy stated on their website but found lots of people posting on other sites with complaints about returns to rockauto. It sounds like a person pays return shipping no matter what plus a restocking fee. And almost no customer service? I suppose ordering a clutch kit doesn't have all that much risk in this case if it saves a lot of money but still concerning.

Thanks Yepee.
I called my dealership today. They have a clutch kit in stock but $207

Not sure if partsgeek has a better return policy. May be worth a look. They can be more $ than rock. You could also try advanced auto parts, autozone, or oreilly. I know advance offers 20 to 25 percent for order online and pick up in store. If it didn’t fit return would be easier.

Any idea what the difference between these two clutches are besides price? One is Catalog A and the other B but I don't know what that means, if anything. The reviews don't even link to the specific product so that's a worthless indicator. One picture shows the clutch disc to appear to have 2 blue springs while the other picture has 1 blue spring but it's hard to trust pictures too because it looks like they stole the one picture off another website.

I called partsgeek. He said they are the same part both for the base model and nothing about 4wd or 2wd. He said the difference in price is just because they come from different vendors/wharehouses. I guess I need to make sure to find a 4wd one if there is a difference? I was hoping to get exedy but it's annoying they aren't listing 2wd or 4wd for them on the cheaper websites.

I talked to the Nissan dealership again. The guy last week said he had a clutch in stock for me but the guy I just talked to said he doesn't have it and can't get it. He confirmed that there are two different part numbers for 2wd and 4wd and said there is a 30$ difference. The 4wd Nissan part number he gave me is 30100-54300.

He seemed to like Exedy brand. I contacted Exedy and they said they sell only one clutch for both 2wd and 4wd for my truck and the part number is 06006.
