Had my first lowered truck in 1989. It was a 1985 regular cab 720. here's my 2nd truck, My 90 HB from the early 90s. same truck lowered, then lifted. Pics of both in my album.

3 things set that off; 1: put together really nice and sturdy, 2: the DATSUN tailgate makes it worth money, and 3: cup holders, lots of cup holders (ok only 2) but that is friggin' bad@aa. I'm definitely going to make one for my mancave when I have it built in the next couple of years. cool, very cool

im using a gate from a '68-'72 chevy longbed for essentially the same thing, but with the gate as the seat.

55" wide between the posts
Rear post 36" tall
Front post 24" tall
Bottom of front 2x6 is 10" from ground
21" deep supports under the seat
