Default Hello there!

New to Nissan and to this site. I just purchased a 97 King Cab with 143k mi with no rust. It is a diamond in the rough. Been sitting for a few years and I need to first get it running then a good bath! I look forward to gaining knowledge from all you folks!

Thanks
Ed

More pics after a long wash. She cleaned up pretty well but disappointed in how much paint flaked off in a few places.

welcome to IN. i would sand those minor rust spots down and get the bed coated with a bed liner. that bed looks pretty darn good for 20+ years old.

Yup. Most of the truck is pretty nice. The bed has a plastic liner and also has a cap. I had to take it all out or off to get it clean and take the bed off to get access to tank. Issues on that in another thread.

Welcome to infamous Nissan. Seems like the white paint on the 97’s was trouble. It flaked off the in the same areas on my wife’s white 97
