I figured that what it was but making fun of PDX was too good to pass up!

Do they still have that smelly pulp mill in Albany, OR? Every time I went on the interstate you could smell that thing.

Snow? The truck went fine on the flat areas, even with six inches of snow. But for work we parked it and went with The Black Beast...that is the wife's 98 Pathy. And that's a good name for it. Seeing it come down the road makes people hesitate from taking a free right in front of you. They get this LOOK...a look of fear, no kidding. I've seen this while riding with her.

"Sneers at doom...laughs at danger..."

When she dumped that crappy 91 Honda Civic and went with The Beast, the first thing she told me later was this:

Quote:
"People don't pull out in front of me anymore..."
No kidding. I told her: "That's because they don't want to get killed if you T-bone them."

I recently switched her over to LED headlights after I had to buy a new headlight housing. Worked great on the new housing. Old housing, drivers side, not so much. Now I have to order the same housing for the drivers side. Apparently, the NEW housing was good for LED, but not the old one. Adjusting LED headlights is tricky though. You have to do it in a really dark place with no background lighting. New housing coming from Amazon.

Finally was able to find the cover for the dome light. I had ordered a new dome light assembly on Amazon and it was not the same and did not have the right connector.

Returned it and kept looking until i found Nissanpartsdeals.com I was looking for power steering parts and put my VIN in to see what parts are still available for me. Found this and also found the factory screws for my sun visors that I am recovering.

This is what I started with.

This was the Amazon "Will fit your"

This is what I got from Nissan Parts Deals

Finally It looks new!

still waiting on a few other things so I can redo my whole interior.

Stay Tuned

What a difference!

I will order my "LENS ROOM LAMP" also. Mine doesn't have the hole in it. But it has turned that awful yellow color.

Swapped Hector's alternator yesterday. Was getting ready to fire him off, took radiator cap off and noticed coolant below flues in radiator. Pulled dipstick and noticed level was WAY above full mark. Didn't look like water in oil, but I'm suspecting it very highly.

Swapped out the OEM Nissan air filter for my K&N filter I've had on there for a number of years. Bored I guess. Am still debating on which exhaust manifold to buy.

This was earlier in the week, forgot to put the video up here. The ol truck got beat on pretty good during all this weather. Bunch of people in the neighborhood were cracked up by it. Everybody else was playing with side by sides or ATVs.

This was taken in my driveway, wanted to get some 3rd person view of the back end kicking out since it doesn't show up real well on the dashcam.

You got sum weird sounds coming from your truck! What, front 1/2 shafts/u-joints? ...or just having a hard time finding gears?

Didn't sound right. What's going on?
