I think it's a pain that you have to be this obvious with this. I thought pretty much all of that stuff was common practice.

Unfortuneatly the newbies just dont get it. Sometimes the vets I think forget.

ok well the actual picture is whats killing me. i keep putting a link because i cant get my picture to work. every one says to do this: [img]actual picture[/img]
all i get is a red x when i put this in the message or when i click the insert image tab. what am i doin wrong????

start by checking out this thread:

it has all the details on how to post pictures. the second thing is to make sure you are using a reliable host. you can even upload the picture to your album here and it will give you the proper code to post them to the forums.

since you are using photobucket, let me show you the easy way, first go to "account settings" at the top. then click "link options" and you should get a popup. check the box for [IMG] coding. then youll find proper image coding below every one of your images

yaaaay i got it lmao. i swear its what i did before! but i just went to photobucket and changed the options to show img codes. thanks man, this has been aggravating me
