you say you hit something and broke ubolts on your 4 inch blocks did you cut off the excess of the bolt after installed

i did cut it. My bottom leaf spring was the one that hit moving to the right causing the bolt to brake don't know how?

After lowering though you are gonna want to drive it around the block a few times. (Not very far or fast) to let the suspension settle. Then go to get an alignment.

That would be the easiest way to make sure you are at the correct height.
MAke sure you measure before and after. That way you know where you started in case you decide to put it back stock.

I am really sorry to do this guys, and I know I just made myself look like a newb, but this bolt I turn to lower the truck right? I just want to double, triple, really really check before I mess something up..

yep, just count the turns and do the same amount on each side, then once you're happy with it, tighten up the jamb nuts.
