Good way to save a couple hundo and just strip the Engine/Ecu stuff from the 'body harness' - when your done its basically the front lights on either side of the engine bay (easy to lengthen the pass side and run in the fender like the driver) and dealing with power supply (fusible links) and distribution (couple of additional battery hots in the bay), move the battery and add a distribution block in the bay so most of that is cleaned up/hidden.

Would also get the engine and trans mounted before you do to much sheet metal work in the bay/firewall...

Not much of an update other than finishing up the last of the patch panels on the bed and still in the process of moving wires and other soon to be unnessessary stuff In the engine bay. Did get a nice shipment of shiney stuff in today for the v8. Hope to have another pic update in a few days with some good progress.

Finally beginning to see the finish line of sorts with the bed. Spent all day on it welding up a few pin holes in the patch panels I made in the floor, welded and ground smooth the holes where the fender trim had been screwed on. Got my inner fender lips cut straight and hammered and dollied smooth. Fabbed up 4 simple braces and got them mounted. Decided on the location for the fuel filler, measured and drilled the pilot hole for that. The rest of the time I was removing gobbs of under coating. Which is sorta crazy because I'm going to spray raptor liner back on it... I just wanted the underside to look a little more uniform before I did.

Passengers side inner fender all finished up. Gotta do something about those holes in the side... Not gonna weld them up but rather sheetmetal over them.

It would probably be easiest to just cut one piece to weld over the whole side.

That be the plan.... Smooth would be good but, flat & smooth be better.

I'll just leave this little hint of what's been going on lately right here.
