Default Cool Nissan/Datsun story

I was 21 or so going to college, had a Datsun B210 that I was driving and fixing up...eventually turned into one SWEET Ride.

Guy at the junkyard always called me Mr Datsun because I was always going in for Datsun parts for this B210...

Back in Army, married, divorced, 20 years goes by..

Walk in looking for something for my truck, he says "Mr Datsun!" - Hey I've been holding this for you for almost 20 years!

Hands me this keychain, it was engraved "Mr. " but it has since worn off...

He has long since retired, maybe passed, but J was a good guy..

And this was the beast back in the day..

Of course a newer Nissan and newer memories...
This is at Trap Pass in the Olympic Mountains - the video is in another thread I posted...30 miles in..

That's Mt Constance in the backdrop. We are at the 4000' level but I believe constance is 7800' high...

No but rumor has it that the dealer I traded it in at still does - the owner by rumor bought it and drives it once a year.

I'd give both body parts to get it back!!

Here's a few higher res pics, had to power the server back up to get these..

Not bad for a 20 year old (at the time) eh?
What I would not do, the memories I had in this car, as well as my first Scirocco...(I'm working on getting it back!)

Cool story. There is a place near me in Whittier that specializes in B210's. It's next to a Mickey Dee's, so every time I go to eat there I get to see the various cars and projects this guy has parked in the lot.
