Default Drag link problem

I replaced the drag link and tie rods with a cheap ebay kit. The idler arm made the tie rod on the passenger side rub the frame that the lower control arm connects to so I had to reuse the old one. The old one looks good still I cant see any movement but my problem is when i jack the passenger side up and wiggle the tire it makes the drag link rock foreward and backwards giving the tire play. The idler arm isnt moving but the ball joints in the drag link rock allowing the tires to toe in and out. I dont understand why this is happening and I could use some advice.

Check that the tie rod ends fit in the center link correctly. I had this problem with advance and autozone parts. The taper was not correct and causing play.

The tie rods all fit into the link but the link doesnt fit into the pitman arm that great. Is the drag link supposed to have one side that acts like a ball joint and one side thats supposed to swivel when you turn but not allow the link to cock?
