Default Rear slider

Hi all
New here
I've searched Google and through the archives here.
I am the new owner of an 86 regular cab 4x4.
I want to change the rear glass from solid to the 3 piece slider that I've seen.
Is there a supplier or source for these?
Or, is it a junkyard only thing?

Why? Much better view out the solid window. And one less way to break in.

Perhaps, like me, he has a dog to display out the back window?

I got a slider because I don't use AC. Seems like everything comes with it today, but that used to not be the case.

Cheese and crackers, Texas heat without A/C, I lived in Houston/Baytown area back in '80 and 81 and people were DYING from a heat wave. Having the rear slider gives you 3-60 air conditioning, much better than the standard 2-60.

Yeah. As long as the truck is moving, I don't really even want A/C. Traffic lights are a bitch, but the vent helps for those situations.

Now if I had to wear a coat and tie for work, I'd die.

FYI my motorcycle doesn't have heat or A/C LOL

I'm new to the Hardbody game but I assume there is no new production slider on the market so the only option is salvage. It's a big part to ship and probably not worth the expense if you could even find one.

You can post ISO ads on CL, search FB Marketplace, etc. Take your time and you'll find one. From the looks of most of the ones for sale in my area, rear sliders are fairly common.

In Texas? Yikes.

That's borderline masochism. I guess you get acclimated to some degree but I live where a screaming hot summer day is 80.
