This is gonna be sweet. It's looking good already. What axle are you using for the front? Dana 44? Are you running a 4cyl or v6? Just curious, I'll be doing the same once my Yukon dies. I've read a little here and there about the sas, just ready to lift a hb! Keep it up.

its a Dana 44 for the front, I'm running 5.13 gears and it has a 4 cyl. the gears will bring it back to the stock 4.63s.

ok, its OFFICIAL!! the IFS is officially GONE!!!!!

and the rims I ordered came in today!

and then mounted them.

cut the Cs and turned them, that was a PITA, to what looked good, then place the axle under the truck for driveline angle. unfortunately the Cs need a little more coaxing. dang it.

plan for tomorrow. install the 3-link and coilovers. have a rolling chasis by the end of the day!

well, not the progress I wanted but it was forward.

I did get the Cs done, they were complete PITAs, but the BFH showed them who the boss was.

IT'S ON ALL 4 WHEELS!!!

It's a beautiful site for sure. still need to figure out how I want to do the upper link for the front though. its kinda set up like a jeep at the moment with upper link tied to the lower to hold the pinion angle. I'm not really wanting to do that. I was hoping there was room on the pass. side, but its only like 2" and under flex the tube would hit the oil pan. not sure if I want to do the dr. side because I would have to totally refab the tranny x-member. I was only wanting to put a hoop in it for the frt d/line. still needs brakes, steering, frt trackbar, place a tube from hoop to hoop on the frt (over the engine) for support and I want to redo the rear trackbar.

so without any further ado, here are the latest pics...
