The entire thing into the truck. Getting it out sucked. My buddy and I fought it for 3 hours and got nowhere but we are both kinda broken. We couldn't lift it into place. The jack didn't help much. Just made the angle it sat in worse. Once this in done it is driveable other than a couple last minute checks.

Upper control arms installed. Upper ball joints installed. Sway bar installed. Center link and idler arm installed(need to replace one stripped bolt).

Homework this week is pressing in new lower ball joints, painting lower control arms, rebuilding both front hubs and painting shocks.

you really need 2 jacks to lift the axle evenly. which is why i suggested the
motorcycle jack. work like this is hard without a lift. im really not sure what the actual issue is that youre facing so i cant offer any advice other that bang on it.

Got it in with 3 jacks and 2 people and some pry bars and wood blocks and unbolting the motor. And some profanity. So close I can taste it.

I also feel like someone dropped a diff on me. I hurt everywhere.

Yesterday - my truck might not need an 850 CCA battery, but it comes in handy when cranking compressors.

Finally wired my fogs after they'd been strictly decorative for a few months. Found a nice 95-96 Maxima SE headlight/turn signal stalk with intact print and jumped the foglight harness to the parking light terminal on the main harness so that the switch is only powered when the parking lights are on.

I've been wanting these fogs since I got my first Hardbody in '96, but these would have been expensive ass Nissan dealer parts at the time when the HD21 had just gone out of production - a no-go for a broke teen. So this is a 20 year old dream come true of sorts.

Did you win your first Hardbody?

I remember them playing the old Hands On A Hardbody back in high school.

I was off at the Marine Corps when they had their crazy shooting that ended the game.
