Iíve seen both of those Desert Runners in person. Either would be good for restoration. But not at the prices he wants.

The higher one is all complete and unmolested. The cheaper one has had some modifications such as a 3Ē body lift, most of the original accessory parts removed, some parts are loose in the bed such as door panels, rear window and other things. The exterior bars, pipe bumpers, and what makes the truck a desert runner, is all there. Just not on the truck. He has the original LEGO wheels. Itís had some body work and repaint work done to it. Stripes donít line up from one side to the other.
Both need to be checked on wether the motors are locked up before any kind of rebuild is done. Then complete fuel systems for both, complete brake systems need to be done. New/good used fuel tanks. Both have need a good bath from all the years of being stored inside. Lots of dirt dobber nests.

Default '96 Reg cab, bench seat, floor shift

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/c...431135666.html

From what I've read, a reg cab, bench seat, floor shift is very rare? Am I correct in this assumption?

Column shift is the rare one. Floor is common.
