And #4 is complete. Now to mount the tires.

Rear brakes installed. It didn't go exactly as planned. Don't do what I did. They will work but I had to make some modifications. Buy yourself a later model H233b with disc brakes, you'll be happier.

Junkyard NISSAN logo installed.

SE Pathfinder headrests installed.

Front brakes are plumbed up. The master cyl. has 3 ports but only came with 2 fittings to bleed it. So that didn't get done, next time.

Filled the diff. She's almost ready for a shakedown cruise.

So if you really want to wake your 4 cylinder truck up and don't want to turbo it I suggest re-gearing it. All I can say is WOW! 4.37 gears are snotty and it gets out of its own way quite nicely.

Now bear in mind that putting lower gears in the rear will raise your highway rpms ifyou stick with the original tire size. I happen to be running a taller rear tire which lowers my effective ratio to about 4.08, perfectly streetable IMO. The true test is coming June 24th when the truck performs its first autocross. Instead of running 225/70R15 in the rear I will be running my AutoX tires which are 225/50R15, the truck will be screaming and I might even need to grab 3rd gear. Won't know till I see the course.

So my final thoughts on gears are 1) Lower gears are good. 2) Match the right tire in the rear to keep the truck streetable...unless you are a racetruck then go with your heart.

On the road!!!! Already has 20 miles on her. Elana from Roadkill magazine liked it on the insta.

Autocross livery test.

And I built a racetruck. Even with the tall rear tires shes a screamer at highway speeds, I knew it would going into this. Rides good, needs alignment. I like it but it's not practical for normal people so don't do what I did.
