JPs rig is a v6.

My truck also eats gaskets where the Y pipe meats the rest of the exhaust. I have several metal ones stacked to make it seal. After a short while it blows them out.

Felpro is nice but I rather prefer Remflex at the manifolds.

You need OEM gaskets:

The glass pack mufflers will change their sound over time because the fiberglass packing slowly gets blown out.

They can get really loud, and a loud 4-cylinder doesn't always sound good.

I went with the Flowmaster because of their good reviews. The 50 Series is what I went with. It is the quietest, but still louder than stock.

Hardb0dy, lasted about 3 weeks when I went OEM. I have some sort of aftermarket in there now. Been almost a year.

Was the OEM gasket the metal multi layer one?
