Default Leaf spring recommendations.

Any recommendations on leaf springs? I'm no longer a desert rat and will have to consider the WA forest/beaches now lol.

Also I'm reading the Energy Suspension leaf bushing kit (72102R) has some issues? It says it's for 4x4 D21's but there are quite a few reviews mentioning how they don't fit the OEM shackles, can anyone confirm?

I ordered the 72103G's, the black ones. I did have trouble getting some of the bushings into the shackles. I used lots of lube, and a large C-clamp to squeeze the shackle into the leaf spring and top shackle hole. total PITA

I had a local guy build me some new oem spec leafs and installed them with energy suspension red poly bushings last spring. No figment issues at all.

Yeah it seems like the 2wd version are fine, it's the 4wd bushings that I'm reading fitment problems on.

Hmm ok then, I just want to make sure here, did you get the whole bushing kit? Energy Suspension (72102R)?

Not sure what the numbers were. I just used the product selector on website based on my vehicle specs. Let me see if I can find the receipt.

I got bushings for rear leafs, control arms upper and lower and a tub of grease. Let me know if you need numbers for control arms.

Appreciate it Kelly, I already got my whole front end done with the red energy bushing kit long ago. Just need my rears now and may as well replace my saggy leaf springs while I'm down there . I'll be the guinea pig here and see of these reviews are true about fitment issues.

Now I just need some leaf spring recommendations...
