I felt the price is real low but ive never been to a shop to ask for quotes either so I wouldnt know...
There is so much work and materials cost involved either way you do it... And like these guys said, friend or not get a written document from him before anything is paid for...

Yea he wanted me to come out last night and he'd write an estimate up on it. He said a grand and a trade and he'd do a sfbd, front tubs, rear notch cover and tubs, and fix my stress broken drivers lambo door. I'd have $1800 in it with trade and cash or if I did all cash it's $1900 for that. They already did a York mount and shaved a gate on my new truck. They're doing a full framed D21 now. I also had another friend say $1000 on the sfdb with tubs and I buy all the metal. He built a wicked Isuzu with a turbo, sfbd, and a cantilever setup.

My god man. Im glad I can do the work myself if needed. But hey you got a sick truck for the outcome of it. As for paying someone to do it. I can understand if you dont have to tools or the knowhow to do it. But in my opinion if you CAN do it yourself, then you would know your truck back and forth, so if anything needs fixed you know right where to look. Damn for that price you could go buy you a welder and a few more tools and get to crackin. lol.

My price is low but they're sorta helping me out plus it'll help get their name out there. That's one reason I've agreed to a sfbd, when you sell or tell how it's bodied you get more interest on a sfbd.

Well, we talked about prices and started into a traditional or channeled. Price on traditional hs said is $1500 with a $200 fee I could get into if things come up. This is to lower the frame horns and a full sheet metal floor, stock gas tank between the rails(if it'll fit the stock rails). This should also get my driver lambo door fixed where it's drooped and stress cracked. I wanted it to be channeled but either way is fine I guess. A sfbd just isn't worth the downtime, nothing to do with money, I drive it and I do not want it down that long. I have a bodied C10 and honestly I didn't want to body this one but they do look good. It's just my old work truck.

Do the Frontiers call for a Z with a traditional bd?
