Default Tonneau cover

I picked up a Checkmate cover from BAGLESS (PATRICK) and test fitted on my truck last night. Looks like the width is the same as Hardbody but the length is about an inch longer compared to the 720 bed. Modyfing it shouldn't be too hard.

Here's a pic of the bottom side.

And here's the hinge.

I still need to get the brackets for the struts and locks. First step is to shorten it at least 1".

I had to shorten the tonneau cover about 1-1/4"... but the width was spot on.

I removed the back rail.

Measured and marked my cuts.

Made the cuts and test fitted.

Final assembly and riveted.

Sick! Didn't even notice this thread. Lol. Looks like a clean install to me. Glad it worked out!

Just need to pick up some mounts for the struts and locks for it to be complete. Thanks again for the sick deal, I've been wanting a tonneau cover for a long time but they don't make them for 720's and a custom one is expensive.

nicely done for sure. but you may want to place something to protect it from stuff coming off the tires. I know its thick but stuff will fly off the tires pretty forcefully at 70 mph.

That's not permanent... just waiting on some other things before I address the wheel well.
