Just FYI you can make the regular bolt release into an auto bolt release with a dremel (or a file) and a few minutes I bought one for my first 10/22, but on all my subsequent ones I've done the conversion myself to save a bit of cash.

I have a 3-7x40 on one of my .22. It's way overkill IMO. I have a Redfield TAC22 on my match grade 10/22 and it's perfect. Light weight, excellent quality, and the built in yardage adjustments on the scope (set for 40 grain ammo from the factory but can be swapped out for other dials for different loads) are super useful.

My trusty Remington pump sits above the back door if anyone gets rowdy... High brass, .00 and slugs baby.
It's also good for blasting the damn woodchucks that invade my land.

S&W .357 K frame six shooter - stainless. I usually use .38 wad cutters for cheap thrills.

How about this one? J C Higgins bolt single shot .22 bought in the 50s, I'm the second owner...

Stroger "coach gun" double barrel 12 gauge is next to my bed. Modified to be able to pull both triggers simultaneously. It's just long enough to be legal. It can make a big mess of anything under 10 feet.

Colt .25 "pop gun". I don't think this thing has enough bag to take down a fat squirrel. Six rounds, nickel plated. Somewhere in the 40s production.

Last - Ruger 10/22 stainless. Used for varmint population control.

shit those pop guns can be as deadly in spaces less than 5 feet. she has her daddies raven 25 auto that he had for years and years. when he died, her mom kept it for five years. then out of no where, her mom brought it up here last month and said here, keep your daddies gun.
