Thumbs up Can a crewcab long bed be lowered?

Hey guys,
New here and have searched but am not able to find an answer. I'm shopping for a 2001 - 2004 crewcab long bed, but would need to lower it. I've seen pictures of all the other models in this year span lowered, but not the crewcab long bed. Can I use the "D21 drop springs, 98-2000 Frontier Drop spindles and Belltech Nitro Drop Shocks 2" like SHOspazz92 did here: Its done! Before , during and after pics inside!
His ride height is PERFECT!!!
If I can't lower a 2WD, I'm shopping for the same truck in 4WD.

Thanks,
Aaron

Yes and no. No, those parts will not fit. All crew cabs are built on the 4wd chassis, so none of the front end lowering components that are used on the regular and extended cab trucks will work. Since the rear axle of the 2wd crew cabs is still leaf under, you can, however, lower it by adjusting the torsion bars and installing lowering blocks. Beyond that you might be able to use lowering leaf springs for the other 2wds.

Per the 2004 Frontier service manual the 2wd uses the same setup as the 2wd hardbody, spindle, etc. Same as the 2000

They're different Tony, look in the FSU section. I've owned a couple crew cabs. http://www.nicoclub.com/manuals/Fron.../fsu.pdf#page9

Looks like the KA24DE is the same as the 2wd Hardbody but the VG 2wd uses the 4x4 setup

Thanks guys for replying so quick. How bad is the ride after turning the torsion bars? And how low can I get it? I haven't been able to find any, so it is t a popular mod.
