Can you find a piece of cable to go directly from your known good battery to the relay's power wire? Sometimes the wiring gets corroded inside the wire insulation. Not often, but ti happens.
Tried running a wire to the relay, don't think it doesn't do anything. Guess I will be starting to pull the harness and inspect it later today. Pretty sure it is something to do with electrical.

I wouldn't pull your harness just yet. Sounds like you have an intermittent power delivery problem. Hard to tell. Pull alternator and take it for testing. Sounds like an electrical problem, but probably not in the harness itself unless the general condition of the truck is pretty bad under the hood. Most likely an 'outer' problem.

Took the alternator out tested it and it's good. Cleaned it when I had it out also and put it back. That rules the alternator out.

One thing I also noticed is that Idle Control Valve on the carb also clicks. But I'm pretty sure it's clicking because the main relay is clicking rapidly.

I really want to tell you that the battery cables are bad. Twice I have had cables that were clean on both ends go bad somewhere in the middle - not on my Hardbody, but once on a tractor and once on my 2000 Xterra.

I'd just hate to tell you to go through all of that work without proof and have it not be the problem.

Will do that I guess before trying to take the harness out. Will come with an update after doing that.

You might be able to run a jumper cable from the (+) Positive battery terminal to the starter and another cable from the (-) Negative battery terminal to the block.

It would be hard to route all that cabling, but that was how I found out the cable was bad on my tractor.

Can't pull codes because once the key is on the ECU is not getting constant voltage I'm pretty sure. This is because the main relay is clicking rapidly.

I see it's a 5 speed, are you able to try push starting it? I'm guessing no, because if it doesn't start then it will be down the street from where you need to work on it.

If the main relay is clicking badly, either the battery is gonzo or there is rot between the battery and the relay. If the relay itself were bad, it wouldn't click at all. The key switch seems to get power to the relay. But something between the battery and the relay isn't working. Bad connection somewhere. If you try to jump the truck and the same thing happens, I would look at the starter or its connections.

Basically, you will have to look at the battery connections and the starter connections. Sounds like the key switch is working.
