You never know. My truck looks like it's hardly seen a gravel road but it's been to Moab and I've wheeled it pretty hard. It's all about taking care of it.

If you need manual hubs, I have a set of Mile Markers that are take offs from my truck. Those hubs served me well from sand to snow to Moab. I only replaced them because I got some Warns for $40/pr at a junk yard.

It takes very little wear on the auto hubs to stop them from working. I'm pretty sure I still have mine laying around, if you want to try to fix yours you're welcome to them for cost of shipping.

Somewhat of newbie when it comes to D21's and 4x4 vehicles in general. I've been having an issue with my 4x4 not engaging. When It's in 2 wheel drive the front cv axles do not spin. When it's in 4x4H the front left cv axle spins but not the right front cv axle. The troubleshooting was done while the truck was rolling, had a buddy drive it while I looked under. I have automatic locking hubs and have read about how unreliable they are via this thread. I'm hoping it's not the diff that's busted. Has anyone had this issue? If so, what ended up being the defective part? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated guys.

Lift the truck up wit all 4 wheels off the ground and drop it in 4wd. Then look and see what spins. Might put a little resistance on each front tire and see if the other spins. Open diff so one side will spin if it doesn't have traction while the other won't.

If you can hold a tire and the axle spins the hub isn't locking.

I'll give this a shot this weekend and report the outcome. I'm sure someone can benefit from this if we get it solved. Thanks Deerhurst.
