New to me 97 2wd

Rust was the ONLY concern I had when I saw your location.
But I thought that maybe the truck came from a Sun Belt region before it ended up CT. Could this possibly be true? Do you know the entire truck’s history?

I bought it from my boss’ father , he’s 83 and him and his brother have owned it since new . It’s been a 2nd vehicle for dump runs and Home Depot trips it’s whole life. He said he kept it in the garage most of the time , it has less surface rust than my 2016 frontier haha
