Okay so I have an issue that is driving me up the wall. It feels like I have a random chance if my tachometer works in my truck whenever I start it up. When it doesn't function as intended, my tach will just slowly rise (about 200 or so rpm per minute) until pinned at redline. I double and triple checked the connection to my distributor and still no luck. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Thanks!

well you could always swap out your cluster?
