Damn Robert. You are one Hardbody Fixing Dude. You could probably open a shop for Hardbody repair and stay in business a couple of weeks.

"pro tip for inserting a bolt in a blind location...................get part of a nitrate glove (im allergic to latex) and put it around the bolt head. that way you dont have to worry about chasing small bolts."

I just magnetize the socket, but your way works as well

Damn cadillacdude...that's a lot of troubleshooting. Good job. Is it just me or does it seem like the VG30i has more driveability issues than the other engines?

A thin piece of paper like a candy wrapper or similar on the bolt works too. And for taking bolts out of blind holes...one of those telescoping magnets right next to the socket. Don't even let the bolt think about falling into the abyss never to be seen again.

No issues here with my VG30i. Yeah, my wax solenoid is starting to act up but it's old. The VG30i is the oldest of the VG powered hardbodies. It's no wonder why they are starting to have issues! They had a little while to perfect it with the MPFI system.

Washed and waxed the Sentra and the truck. The truck is lookin good. The sentra still looks like poop. Shiny, shiny poop. The clear coat is failing as is the top coat.

Put 225 miles on the Sentra yesterday. Did some 30MPH turns at 65-70MPH with no drama. A couple 7000RPM pulls in 3rd passing semis. It never broke 200F water temps, never had to turn the fan on. Pretty impressed with it. So much so I put tire shine on it.

They are impressive little cars. I just couldn't see myself in one while trying to impress the ladies I'm after. You've got plenty of time to impress them, and the women your age are not looking for a guy with stability - at least not most of them.

Hahahaha! Ive been quite impressed with it for being a 300K mile car.

Funny you mention stability. The girlfriend calls the car a toolbags or douches car. Mostly due to the fart can. Ironically Im probably more stable than most people twice my age. I already have a salary job, Im an mech engineer, have a mortgage and have enough money saved away to make another really good down payment on a house if I so wanted to. Outside of those Ive got several retirement accounts set up and one that Ive been contributing to since high school. Im not sure how much more stable I can get.

Dam, Ive been doing adulty things.

Way to go. It's not how much you make, it's how much you keep. You've figured it out, sadly most will retire with nothing. PAY YOURSELF FIRST!

I pulled my carpets this morning and washed them, did the factory floor mats as well. They turned out pretty nice. I hung them up and they dried in about an hour thanks to the sun/heat here in Phoenix.

I found over a dollar in change, some French fries, popcorn and a toothbrush, LOL. Next I need to clean the floors so I can lay down some sound deadener.
