Default Project Hi H8tr

So I picked up this Hardbody from West Palm Beach, FL. Yes, I am aware that the paint is hideous, but for the price I could not pass this up. The worst part about picking up the truck......was the drive. A 6-Hour drive round trip ....I was drained needless to say. So lets get to the progress pics shall we.

Specs:
1996 Hardbody
94k Original Miles
4- Link Rear End
Bagged
Lays Frame

Picked it up, brought it home, and parked it. Then went to the parts store to get all new maintenance parts.

Immediately replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter which was all brown, spark plug wires, MAF Sensor, Oil and Oil Filter, and Air Filter.

Was looking around the bag setup just shaking my head. I'm surprised this truck hasn't caught fire yet from all the loose wiring from the compressors and switches.

So naturally, I wanted to re-do everything. I'm not too fond of Air Ride Suspension yet, so I got my friend handling all the re-wiring and bag setup.

Went ahead and covered the rear just in case it felt like flooding from the sky again

Replacing all the bags, compressors, and valves. Also has a Set of VW Bucket Seats that I will be selling. Or if anyone wants to trade for their stock bench seat plus cash, or OEM buckets even trade let me know. Will be selling the old bag setup too. Bags, Compressors, Valves, and one of the tanks. Keep coming for more updates you guys!

From what I can see it looks to be done well aside from the wiring and the little stuff. Make sure to look at all of the welds closely, top and bottom to make sure it's all strong and done properly. can you get pics of the front setup by chance?
Good luck with the new project, hopefully it ends up good for you.

The only problem, is that the bags are different sizes. So all four corners lift different heights haha....And the wire that was ran from the compressor to the battery, is a super tiny 18 or higher gauge fuse link....FAIL. It has small errors, but nothing a days work can't fix.
