^My truck came with a LSD factory. It needs rebuilt because it slips now. It gets then quits if you get my drift.

i put 3k on it with a horrible rod knock before it barfed up a tranny.
it's ugly, loud, uncomfortable and smelly, but i'll be damned if it's not reliable.

i drifted my KingCab stock. i would look into lowering it a bit and either going LSD or welding the open diff. i had no problems drifting mine stock but the only thing was with stock height, if i spun out sideways the whole chassis would lean like mad and i almost rolled it a couple times lol

I drift my king cab. It has a LSD and it's a automatic, swapping to five speed. I lowered it 3 inches with low profile bumps in the front and none in the back. It's easy to kick out even with the auto.

Yeah If I use my KC I was planning to weld the rear end up trying to keep it as cheep as possible.i slide it quite a bit but it will only slide in the snow or dirt it doesn't have enough power to break it loose on dry pavement. and yeah one time I almost rolled it when I was dirt flat tracking lmao. so I guess if I decide to build it I'm looking a motor swap options? But I think right now I'm really leaning more towards waiting till I can afford a single cab l.

I think Pejsa lengthened his frame. His truck started as single cab short bed and he converted to king cab. His truck is purpose built for drifting, he is skilled, and knowledgeable. This would lead me to think that you may be better off with the longer wheel base. (I know nothing about drifting and this is pure speculation)

LOL - same here.

If you ever see me "drifting", then give me lots of room because that means I am in the act of crashing.
