is there any difference between a single cab and ext bed?

yes. they are not interchangeable. length and wheel placement are different

first i have to mention that 2wd beds and 4wd beds have the same amount of flare. so technically there is no such thing as a 4wd bed like on mazdas or etc. just standard cab beds, and ext cab beds.

And if you want to add some specs on dimensions for your yellow lined pictures? Then you might want to add that the distance from the bulkhead to the front fender well of the reg cab is 18"s. The king cab distance from the bulkhead to the fender well is 15.25"s.
