Default Turbo

Has anyone ever installed a turbo on a 91 Nissan hardbody with a four cylinder and if so how did you do it and was there enough power gain to justify the work.

He has 1991 on his name there so Im guessing it is a KA24 he has in it. People have turboed them. Im a V6 guy so Im not sure if its worth the cost or no with the KA.

You can turbo the balls off of the KA. Just depends on how much money you want to throw at it.

I found a 91 with a v6 for 100 dollars that I thought about buying. It's a four wheel drive but doesn't have a hood or fender and the trans is bad.

Mine's trans was bad when I bought it. It was $800 for a reman with a 3 year/30k mile warranty on it. Not bad. Expect to need to do some other minor work to it though, bushings, balljoints, that sort of stuff.

I thought about putting the six cylinder in my truck. For 100 dollars why not. Everything would be there that I would need lol.
