Default Air conditioner directional knob

I got a 97 Nissan D21. My air conditioner blows cold and works great but only blows at my feet. Anyone know how to fix it so it will blow out of th top vents as well?

Welcome to Infamous, does the knob feel like it turns too freely? If so The cable may have come out of the clip on the control end, or it may have come out or broke under the dash,

Well if I put it on just the top vents it doesn't work. If I put it on both feet and top vents then the middle two top vents barely blow air and the two side ones don't work at all. The knob seems to be fine itself but I haven't looked at the cable itself yet.

I just hope it's an easy fix for ya man. Taking the dash out would be your next option

These trucks have levers, not knobs to adjust the air flow.
The hvac controls can break very easily.
Post up pictures of the ac heat controls.

pull the control head and take a look at the cable attachments, as stated before it may just be a clamp(s) that came loose

related question, where is the part that the cable connects too that controls where the air comes out? ex. defrost, vents, floor? The other day when we had that bad rain storm, it took me 20 minutes to get the windshield clear because hardly any air was coming out of the defroster vents, but the dash vents and floor had good flow.

Thanks
