Default Gas mileage

Anyone ever notice there mileage increase when they stop running that ethanol crap, and run pure unleaded gas?

I had probably about 2-3 gallons of ethanol gas in my tank last week, used some seafoam to dry out the alcohol in it, and filled up with pure unleaded at 2.99 gal. Well a few days ago, I topped off the tank for some unknown reason, it seems she really likes the regular unleaded gas. My response time has improved a little more and it seems to be getting better MPG's this time.

Tomorrow I have to go into the neighboring county and hit the court house for some paperwork so I'll see how she does on highway speeds.

Can't say I have. There are a few stations around town that I don't buy gas from but as a rule I get about 20 mpg regardless of how or where I drive it. At least it's consistent. Last fill up it took 12 gallons and I drove it about 250 mi so that's just over 20mpg, mostly highway and back roads driving.

Ethanol fuels suck. Its too expensive at $4+ a gallon here to run non ethanol though.

our trucks were not made for ethanol, and running ethanol will eventually harm them. pay the 4 dollars plus per gallon, and your truck will run forever, well, the z24 will anyway.

Not financially feasible. E10 shouldn't kill it. Hell, 173k miles and strong as ever just shitty mpgs.

93 non ethyl is currently 2.51 a gallon here. the truck and lexus HATE that stuff. it drops my MPG on the truck by almost 2 mpg. and that big V8 lexus doesnt do much better.

I'm noticing my truck loves that regular gas. We actually do have a local station that has it at 2.74 a gal.
