They only work if you're logged into photobucket on the device you're using. Had to figure that out the hard way. My how-to threads are all screwed now. Have to look elsewhere.

I tried it through my phone and I can't figure that shit out for nothing.

I've set up my own photo site using chevereto software on the hosting server I already pay for. I just started downloading albums, and uploading them to my new site. http://photos.reserector.com/ It's going to take quite a while.

I don't plan to abandon PB unless I have to. As I understand it, the icon that shows up in place of the pictures will allow you to click on it to get to the picture. At least there is a link that way.
There is no way I could go through and replace all of the pics I've ever linked. I've been doing this for a really long time. I will fix How-Tos, but that's about it.

I remain optimistic, though.

Right clicking of the mouse and open in a new window, loads it up. Tried doing that on the mobile device and doesnt do anything.
But who the hell is gonna do that on every picture. Not this guy.

Just tried and it made my pics show up again in my build thread. By opening them in a new tab, letting them load, then delete those tabs, I can now see my pics on my 1st page of my build thread. Im gonna see what happens in a few hours if they go back to the image that was put in place from PB.

Guys, the folks over at Hyperscale have come up with an Imgur "how-to" and was posted on a scale model board by one of our members, GEH737:

Here's a "How To" from Hyperscale;

The directions you want to post the picture are pretty clear - to post here you want; "BBCode (Forums)"

Glory glory, I don't know how but this chrome plugin will let you view old photobucket images for the time being.

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...fiaedg/related

I still haven't gotten around to replacing everything in my build thread with new hotlinks

Hmm. I think I'll wait till it has some more users before adding it to my Chrome. Do not want malicious extensions.

Well I have been trying to download my photos from idiotbucket, I see the option to download an album but it never worked for me. I am able to get about 10-15 pictures one at a time before it says site unavailable in my web browser (its not my internet connection either, can see any other site). Just wondering if anyone else has had better luck with getting their pictures back.

After I get them all PB can kiss my @##$%&^(%@$%$$%$%.

Sent the support robot an email, wonder if that @sshat can help.
