so to adjust them do you still use the headlight adjustments I guess?

Correct. Nothing different as far as installing the entire assembly and adjusting it.

I watched a video of retrofitting those projectors into a regular headlight, looked pretty straight forward. I guess on the sealed beam type headlight you had to do some cutting to get them to fit.

Does the projector assembly not fit in the H4 housing just from the front (after removing the lens) ?

The housing we use is too short. The back has to be cut off and the projector somehow fixed into it and then the housing sealed again.

These will drop into a H4 housing as long as they are deep enough.

are those projectors the shortest available?

No. The Mini H1 might fit but I still think some minor trimming. These will drop in with no more effort than removing your old lights and replacing them with these plus bulbs and ballasts: http://www.gtrlighting.com/tru-proje...lights-chrome/

About$100 more but someone already did all the work. My projectors should be better but those should still be great.

Patiently waiting to see how you secured the projectors to the housings Is there a way to fix the bowing at the edges of the light spread pattern in your first couple of pictures?
