So I have an older one I think 91 HB, but it just has dial screws and lights. Is there a switch under the plastic cover?

Thanks. Thought I was losing it.
Does the dial have a position controlling idle speed?

Btw, your help with the knock sensor issue was resolved. Tore into it, replaced the sensor and the skip/miss disappeared.

The dial on mine *says* idle, but I don't know how you'd adjust the idle using that.

To adjust the idle, I have only adjusted the Idle Air Control Valve on the engine's intake.

Ok well I'm lost.My ecu looks nothing like any of these.i have 1 switch..on/off. And a black plastic boot of sort with 2 screws holding it in.I see no lights.thing is it has a V6 in it..I'm not certain if it's the "e" or the "i" or how to tell.I tried to post pics but it's not showing them.

Below the 1st video is a video from Deerhurst. That should be what your truck has (with the switch). It is the VG30i.
