Default 17x8 et0 205/45/17 tires

Hey everyone, i just recently got my 2nd D21 hardbody truck... single cab, 5spd, 2wd and i've been searching and researching all about wheel and tire setups. My question is, does anyone have any pictures or know anyone running a wheel setup close to 17x8 et0 with a 205/45 series tire? I see plenty of people on here run 16x8 or 8.5 with et0 or even -12 with 195/45 or 205/45 or 205/50 tires, but I havent seen anything aggressive with 17s.... I plan to run pinto shocks up front and turning the torsion bars and then running 3 in blocks in the rear with a redrill (and flipping or pulling the middle leaf if needed) I mainly want to run 17s so i dont have to lower the truck AS MUCH to close the wheel gap that I would have to with 16s. Any help would be appreciated as i'm trying to just buy wheels and tires once.

Am about to put 17x8 wheels on mine and I came up with 245/45R17 as the best fitment and price range for my budget.

Not sure what the offset is on mine. I know they're gonna look a little weird as they where donated to me off of a 2008 full size Chevrolet Silverado truck. As far as lowering goes I only plan to do a 3 inch block in the back an torsion bar in the front. When I get it all together I'll post a pick or two up.

Am not sure what the offset is. The wheels where given to me so I just thought what the heck. Put them on the truck. My lowering plans are a 2 or 3 inch block in the back and adjusting the torsion bars for the front. I want more handling performance out of the truck than to just look cool. So I may end up doing a 4 link out back with coilovers in the future.

I'll be glad to post pics when I get the tires and rims on it. Lowering the truck will come at a later date though.

not a problem lol. i do think the 245/45 tires are going to be a bit wide/chunky but since they are OEM wheels the offset should be high enough to tuck them.

Will see. However I don't plan on going so low to tuck the tires
