No tweeter is not an option, so I vote tweeter and two pods.

Alright. So I spoke with the company again yesterday to get an idea of how to proceed from here. Here's what was said and proposed by the company. Basically we can go ahead and send the A-Pillar piece to the company without all the color samples at this point. They wont be needed for quite some time and it was expressed by them that its alright if it comes s from 5 different people from all over the country so long is they are labeled with the Project Leader name/email address, Vehicle Make model and the vehicle year range the A-Pillar covers. Now, Bama, they also require you to do one other thing before sending the A-Pillar

They want you to Mark a line on the trim piece to show the Lowest point the bottom Pod can be mounted without hitting the dash. and write down what this line represents.

Also, we need to get several pictures of the interior Pillar IN the vehicle, since the don't have a vehicle to reference from. I'll be able to get those and send them this weekend.

After the sample A-pillar is delivered to them, along with the Pictures, they put something together, then give me some Real numbers within a Business week.

Alright.... so here we go.

Since we're using the tweeter style pillar, the pod won't be able to be mounted anywhere near the dash.

It was still a requirement to see if they can even accommodate 3 pods or not.

Ok guys, here's the update that Dowser posted over on NPORA
Quote:
Alrighty, So we have an Update.

Return E-mail was sent to me so I in turn will post it up here for you guys and gals to see where we're at.

Quote
We received the trim piece and 3 color samples.

A double pod gauge holder would be the best choice for the trim piece. Since the trim piece is very narrow the pods will not be able to turn toward the driver very much. If you have three pods the top one would quite high and basically be pointing towards the ceiling.

To start we do need at least 20 pre-paid orders. The price per unit will be $49.99 plus shipping. The paint charge per piece will be $7.99. The tweeter hole will be cut out. The buyer will use their own tweeter cover. Once we design the mold with the tweeter cut out it cannot be removed. So all orders placed will have the tweeter.

.

We will need to have a list of buyers and their addresses to determine the shipping cost. Please send them in address label format.

The trim piece we received will need to be used in making the mockup and the mold. One you agree to start the project the trim piece will be destroyed and cannot be returned.

Let us know when you want to start or if you have any additional questions.

Best Regards,

Dennis

Lo-Tek, Inc.

Sooooo, now we need to get some opinions on this... I know some of you had your hearts set on 3 pods, so lets discuss from here to see who is still interested with those numbers and specs. I need some yes or no's so I can Update the list if need be.

Y'all need to weigh in and let us know who's serious and who's full of crap. It's gonna cost a little more than anticipated but consider yourself doing a service to all the HB and pathy owners who will have this available from now on.
