There hasn't been much action on this thread in some time, so I will post a quick thing about my overhead console. I snagged one out of a pathy to put in my 95 hardbody. I also took the sun visors as well. These have proven to be a pain in the ass to mount up, as the locations aren't the same at all. I am trying to figure out how to bolt them to the headliner, with supplementary screws into the actualy screw holes in the truck. It should be good and stable when I'm done, but right now it's kind of having its way with me. I don't know when I will be able to post pics, or if its just because I'm new that I cant..but when I can I will put some up. I'm super excited about getting it done, so work is ramping up more on it. Does anyone has any idea where I could find a good selection of headliner carpet that is more like kind of berber? carpet style...sortof like the old carpet in Mustangs in the mid to late 60s. Or something similar to it. I'm going to use a small amount of foam as well, to help take up the space of the contour differences in the headliner and console.
Thanks!
Joe
