Question Cost to redo leather seats???

hey fellas,

I have been going around junkyards trying to find a set of good seats for my 95 HD king cab. Now, I've been looking for both HD and Pathy seats but I've had no luck.

My truck came with the leather seats but are all but done (torn, stained, etc), would you guys recommend just getting them redone with same leather material (or other material) or just keep looking for a set?

how much is a reasonable price to get them redone with similar leather "grade"?

HOU, TX area...

I'd say you're looking at a couple hundred dollars on the low side. Of course being in Houston you may have a lot more options. I'd call around and see.

Try a local upholstery shop for stuff that lasts. I've had local upholstery shop do my 1970 VW, my 1971 VW, and the fronts of my 1988 Mazda truck. That's 40 years ago, 38 years ago, and 23 years ago and still OK, if you're keeping score.

I did a 70 Dodge Challenger. Fortunately the replacement seat covers and phone were available. If I remember right the covers for the two front bucket seats was around $350 and then I had another two or 300 into it for an upholstery shop to do the work. As other have suggestion I would go to shop and see what they have to say
