Default RedAggie03's 1992 Extended Cab Project

Welcome! This is my 1992 Nissan Hardbody Extended Cab 5-Speed with the KA24E. My Dad bought this truck new and it still has really low miles on it. I learned to drive stick on this truck, so it has quite a bit of sentimental value. He just had a bunch of services done like brakes, belts, etc. since it is 19 years old. He then passed it on to me since he wasn't using it anymore and I just bought a house so I need a truck to haul stuff with. So my plan for the truck is to restore it so it will be good for years to come. I also plan on making a few modifications and installing a small sound system.

I will keep this modifications list up to date, but the thread will be from start to finish.

Body / Exterior:
Complete multi-stage paint job with clear - Factory color
94-97 style hood
96-97 style front bumper
94-97 V-style grill
4x4 / Pathfinder front fenders
Pathfinder power/heated(!) mirrors painted to match and wired
Shaved antenna (using OEM windshield antenna)
Solid back window
Toff spray-in bed liner
Custom in bed bike rack
Orange LED corner marker lights
White LED license plate lights

Suspension / Wheels / Brakes:
18" 6-spoke Titans professionally bored out to 4"
Hankook Ventus v12 Evo 245/45/18's
Stock suspension, .5" torsion drop in the front

Engine / Drivetrain:
Exhaust cut and dumped under bed
Removed stock airbox / tubes
Pennzoil Syncromesh transmission fluid

Interior:
Tint: 35% Ti front, 20% rear by Solar Guard
1994 Pathfinder dash swap
1994 Pathfinder SE bucket seats
Complete interior color change to grey from brown
1995 Hardbody steering wheel
Pathfinder map lights and sun visors with lights
White LED's in gauges, A/C controls, glove compartment, and cabin lights
Re-covered headliner

Audio / Electronics:
Viper Alarm with power locks (factory from Pathfinder)
Alpine Head Unit
Alpine PDX-4.100
Alpine PDX-1.600
Image Dynamics CTX65s 6.5" components
Image Dynamics ID8v3D4 8" subwoofer
Custom made "beer box" subwoofer box
knukonceptz.com wiring, RCA's, terminals
Second Skin Damplifier Pro (40 sq feet)
4-Note Cadillac horns

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are the most up to date pictures. Read through the thread to see how I got to this point!

Here is how it all started:

Nice clean body, straight, hardly any door dings, and ZERO rust!

Yup...So now that you've seen my truck...Do you have parts for me?

Left fender, hood, clear corners, 1 pc front bumper and brackets? Anything I can't live without

Also, are the stock headlights sealed beam? Can I upgrade them to something a bit better? How does all that work?

That's what I'm hoping...I just need some help finding parts at this point.
  • Hood
  • Drivers side fender
  • 1 pc front bumper w/ brackets
  • V style grill
  • non-sealed headlights
  • clear corner lenses
  • all 3 A/C vents (square dash)
I'm not quite sure where to start, but I think I'm going to start tearing it down this weekend and see what it looks like.
