Hey Cafe',
I thought maybe it was me but your images are not showing up.
Bummer, 'cause I really want to see what you started with and your progress.
Cheers,
Erik

What the heck!!! Really!!! There are 8 pictures on here. They show up on both computer and iPhone. Well, go to my profile and they are all in my albums.

Well so much for my list. After church took the wife to a fabric store where a 2 hour trip turned into 4. So only Got the seats out and wifey vacuumed out the carpet. Then pulled the driver door apart. The inside door handle doesn't work. Spent the rest of the day working on that. So F for failure on productive work day. And yes, yes I did take qtips and try to clean all tiny areas and vents. They are so bad I'll just take them out and clean them with a brush .

Looks like the interior cleaned up rather nicely and looks to be complete. Mine is missing some trim that I will need to scavenge somewhere. Not much in the way of imports in the boneyards down here unfortunately.

About the cover, going to paint it with high temp, but paint scheme alludes me.

2 choices:
1: solid black
2: solid black with red in the lines and Nissan

Lastly worked on the door again..... now I have a driver door that won't open, good for me ( all sarcasm)

Usually don't do any auto painting during the winter but it's just small... here are a couple pics in progress of the cover got the first layer tonight should get the second color of red tomorrow.

Pulled out the Dura block 007 for the job

Also got some pressure washing done. While I can appreciate a good offf road adventure, the PO should have cleaned the caked mud from all over the engine and suspension. ...... that's it for tonight.... till tomorrow....

Quick question. The body is a 92 4x4 SE which is supposed to be a V6. Which it isn't. It has the 2.4 4cyl. I am going to purchase the timing chain kit but don't know the year of the motor. Will that matter and/or will any kit work that goes to a 2.4? If not, what is needed to purchase the correct chain kit?

Engine looks like the KA24. I am no expert though. Their are some subtle things that will give you a better idea of the year. Look at the timing chain sticky. It has some good pictures that you might be able to match up some of the parts.

Some one just said if it is 4 plugs it's a ka24 if it's 8 plugs it's the other 2.4...
