Default A cure for cancer (part 2)

I started this thread on nc.com but havent done much work to it since carlisle. So far the truck has been backhalfed the frame is part of the air tank and bagged in the front with stock spindles laying on a 225/40/18 tire.

Plans are stock floor to just below the doors with a new sheet metal floor and keep the heat and ac. Laying on 20's.

Now with the pics.

Here is the truck when I got it

This is why its called a cure for cancer. The rear portion of the frame was pretty rotted as well as the rockers. But when I went to look at I had plans for a sfbd to the doors so it wasnt a big deal.

Its in the process now got the rest of the interior stripped today and the other rocker cut off. Also cut out the fender supports that connect to the rad support.

I had to message them a little with a hammer but it layed out fine. I couldnt drive with it almost on the ground or the tires would rub the firewall. I was running a 225/40/18 tire. Maybe your tire size is a little larger.

bout time you started an thread for the bodydrop. Now i don't have to come over and freeze my butt off to see whats going on. j/k And besides i have to keep on your good side so i can sucker you into bagging the blazer here soon. just think of all the work i would have saved you if i would have just bought a rockered truck fo you to be a 1/4 inch lower then.
