I apparently created an problem...It wasn't there before I stared all this, so somewhere I did something .

The truck starts up fine, has a great idle and will accelerate or run under load great. But when I have my foot over the pedal just to hold a constant speed the engine will pulse. Like I am taking my foot off the pedal then back on to maintain speed.

The only two things I have done are replace the timing chain and pull the throttle body for a clean. I didn't adjust anything and as far as I can tell all vacuum lines are reinstalled.

If it will help I can get a video of the problem this afternoon?

Default First Ride

Finally!!!! Got some time to day to put some tires on her and took her for a spin....was going to video her maiden voyage but it's raining cats and dogs.... but...results....
1.odometer does not work,
2.driver side blinker out ,
3.wipers SUCK!
4.weird grind and squeal From underneath when I let off the clutch to go ( goes away when not in gear)...
5.either clutch is going bad or tranny because some minor slipping going up a hill,
6.and a lot of vibrations when under load goes away as load decreases.

EDIT: just took another ride and when I got back driver side brake... SMOKING!

#2&3 easy fix, I'll chase down #1. But 4-6 ..... anyone have a advise?

Default Toys in the mail!!!!

Finally got around to getting some parts. I got KYB shocks in and sway bar bushing. Just have to find some play time now to get these installed. Shouldn’t be a problem with the 3 day weekend coming.

Out with old and in with the new. And boy what a ride difference!!!! The three black ones are Nissan original and the blue... no clue. All four we bad. Couldn’t get to the sway bar because the links are seized. So I ordered new links and they will be in tomorrow

Oh and I went with imugr for pics. They have an app and are easy to use.

Default Tranny Leak

Pulled up at our neighborhood local WalMart, got a few things and on the return to the truck..i noticed a nice pile of shiny liquid under her. First thought...dang...that wasn't there when I pulled up....it's probably radiator fluid. Looked under the truck and "NOPE"...next thought....uh oh,,,engine oil...dark, dirty and looked like it was mixed with water....Dang, cracked head. But wait, oil pressure and water temp look great. Drove home just as fast as Little red could, popped the hood, pulled the dip stick,,,hmmmmm oil is good...that couldn't be tranny fluid!?
!

Sure Enough,,,that dark thick water mixed fluid is from tranny.... Look at it just pour out from between the engine and tranny...Truck parked...and now winter project begins...
