The image that originally caught my eye was this one, I had just bought my 2wd frontier and was searching around on google looking for an answer to some problem I was having with the truck and I came across "Roastbeefs" build thread. This guy converted his 2wd frontier into this fucking monster and as soon as I saw this shit I knew I wanted to do it too.

And then theres Penski61, whose been featured in magazine covers and all with this insane thing

I knew I'd build one someday, might not be on coilovers but I'm only 24 years old so one day I might have the money for that

I've met Mike (Roastbeef) and Aaron Penski at AZ Run 8 in 2008. Both trucks were really well set up. Too bad they only ran with us on Day 0

Aaron is still in the game, but I haven't heard from Mike in years.

Mikes truck:

Action shots are the best, it always seems like nobody gets pictures of the more crazy shit I do in the truck.

Aaron is a creative genius when it comes to the early frontiers, I've gotten so much info from his write-ups over the years. They guys both definitely built crazy rigs but I'm more of a leaf spring guy. However it's rigs like theirs that inspired me to get one and build it myself
