Everything is installed (Belltech Spindles, Drop Shocks on all 4 corners and Leafs).
You can see my "Mini Build" and review of everything here... http://www.infamousnissan.com/forum/...ad.php?t=18835 -Sam

Since the newer belltech leafs are mentioned here, I'll ask here instead of new thread:
Will the BT 3" leafs throw off the pinion angle and cause vibration? D21 btw. Thanks! |

I'm sure someone here can confirm this, but I believe that the belltech leafs will not create vibration from pinion angle when used as stock replacements, but if you also re-drill your hangers, like I have, then you may have pinion issues.

has anyone just taken the bottom leaf of their stock leafs and put it on the top to straighten the other 2 leafs? essentially creating lowering leafs, does it work? or would it just be better to invest in lowering leafs or blocks?

It's usually better to do the job right.
However, HessianBen bought springs to do it right, and this thread is what happened - they weren't correct right from the get-go. My altered spring pack thread is here: 2WD leafs, 4WD leafs, & something in-between, inspired by HessianBen's thread right here (I linked it for future reference).

i seen u putting shims in the u bolts to fix pinion angle.
heres my problem 91 Nissan hard-body 2wd reg cab 2.4l 5 speed i bought the truck off a guy he had it for a year no problems withing six mouths the rear end blow out of it, so i put a junk yard rear end in just the rear end not the housing or axles. about 2000 miles later it blow out again. things I've done to it since i bought it i shortened exhaust so it doesn't touch rear suspension bell tech drop spindles, removed rear bump stops, Nissan quest rear shocks, it came with 3" drop blocks in rear i know it needs all new leaf spring bushings i'm wondering if i put new leaf spring bushings, new 3" blocks, original shocks, and new bump stops, i have a complete rear end for it axles in all . will it fix my problem or will it go bad again any help gladly appropriated my freind says theirs no play in the drive shaft causing the drive shaft to push on the input bearing on the rear end but if that was true why didn't this happen before ? |

I actually did this a while back before I saw this post but i only used the OEM springs and just flipped the middle or secondary spring and it straightened out the pack after we pressed them together and re-clamped it. On the truck I'd say its about a 2-3'' drop and mine ride good a little stiff but I wasn't going to put blocks under my truck either because i like to try and put my truck sideways and I didn't want any more instability. The one thing that i haven't done yet is the re-drilling my mounts but i really should because i think it would help some ground clearance issues due to Nissan's infamous low balling mounts.
