Default Headlight/Signal switch...

My headlight/Signal switch in my '97 hardbody needs replacing. I've looked at eBay and Amazon and there are numerous brands from $15 to $60 . anyone had to replace theirs? Which brand is reliable?

Contact David29 here or post an ad in the want to buy for an OEM one. I got new old stock OEM Nissan stalk for mine off ebay. If you want to be adventurous you can take yours apart and clean it to get it working again.

I was going to say, you don't necessarily need to replace it. Before spending any money on a new one you can pry the case apart with a tiny screwdriver then sand the terminals clean and apply a thin coat of terminal grease. I'm 5 years in and the problem has not come back.

I've had no luck with trying to rebuild my old stalk. Still have it too. My issue was that the contact fingers were fatigued and wouldn't make contact.

I went with Beck/arnly and it has worked fine for years.

I replaced mine with a 15 dollar ebay one a while back. No problems at all.
