Which sidedrafts? Throat size? Running stacks/filters or plenum? Is the engine stock? Which engine?

I've installed/tuned/synced a few on Z cars (triples/duals) and lots of 510s (singles/duals).

Give me the whole situation.

Youre my guy then

Stock Ka with a stage 2 cam.. should be receiving my had back thats gonna be a full port, polish and deck
Dual 45dcoes .. 36mm throats
ive been fooling with it alot but currently waiting on a new throttle cable
i messed around and changed alot of things.. believe currently i have 150 mains, 180 air 45 pump, 55f8 idles and the f8 emulsion tubes.. could be wrong somewhere but thats what i remember

The issue is right off of idle .. it leans out and pops no matter how many combinations ive tried .. literally as soon as i crack the throttle ..
If you have time and want to read
https://ratsun.net/topic/75298-ka-wi...rafts/page/15/
this is where ive been for a while trying to figure it out.. thats my 16 pages of how i came up with all this lol

Wow, you're on quite the adventure. I gotta say, the guys on Ratsun have hit every point I would have made already. I think you have too many variables and you keep changing the setup without a solid baseline. My gut tells me its a velocity issue, but the new, hotter cam is doing you no favors as it limits vacuum like all top end oriented cams do.

No problem, sorry I don't have anything better than that to offer you. If there's one overall theme I've learned from working on carbs, it's that everything is a compromise in one direction or the other. Your setup screams performance, but the hardest part of what you're doing is always getting the drivability to where it's livable.

The drivability right now is honestly not bad .. just dont care for that lean spot lol
