I remember reading somewhere that 4x4 flares wouldn’t fit on 2wd fenders without some modifications. I’ve got a 2wd truck I've been wanting to put factory flares on and was wondering. Guy wouldn’t let me test fit them and I don’t wanna waste the money on something that won’t fit.

I’m sure somebody who knows for sure will speak up. I would think that they would not fit because the 4 x 4 fenders have a bulge to them. I would not think that they would lay right on a 2 wheel drive fender.
You can however do like I did and put 4 x 4’s fenders on my 2 Wheel Drive truck.I think they just make the truck Look beefier

Thanks for the replies. Do you happen to know how much trimming it takes? I wouldn’t wanna get them and try it and end up destroyed the fronts.
