We're doing it again, except this time bigger and better. Event will be held about thirty miles northwest (as the crow flies) from Shelton, WA. It's a campout. Usually a few Nissans show up. Almost everyone who attends these things comes from Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, or the Olympic Peninsula, although we had one guy who drove up once all the way from Portland. This time it runs from Friday morning, March 15th to Monday morning March 18, 2019.

Should be chilly! I'd really like to go to a meeting you you nissan folks. Judging by the pics from last time boom sticks are in order but pretty sure all my junk is now illegal in WA.

The one I went to was a lot of fun. I'd like to go to another one, maybe this spring or summer. School has got me pretty short on funds at the moment. We should arrange an Oregon campout at some point.

I agree! Or at least an Oregon get together. What are you studying? Quote:
Amen that that! The NRA has been selling off our rights since the 30s so I don't trust them. Curse them and the NFA!

I'm currently working towards obtaining a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate. I actually finished my undergraduate degree three years ago but a technical certification would add a lot of value to it. The courses are all online which is nice because I don't have to actually set foot on campus. Since I am not pursuing another degree I don't qualify for financial aid. On the bright side, there won't be any loans to pay back when I'm finished.

I can't do the January campout in Oregon, but we could do one a little later in Oregon, yes. I used to live in Roseburg, and in Sutherlin. And I spent a year living in Portland. I know some spots in the Oregon Cascades that would definitely work.

I'm sure this won't be until spring at the earliest. I haven't camped in the Mt. Hood National Forest yet, although I last drove through a couple years ago. I get the impression that it's a lot more crowded because of it's proximity to Portland. So far I have camped in the Siuslaw and Willamette National Forests.
