Drove the truck home from work today. Makes some sounds in the rear and the tranny is rotated at an angle and makes sounds in every gear but 5th/R

Rotated, which way? Trans mount broke, or maybe an engine mount?

Stop driving that poor thing until we take a look at it together...

Call or PM me with your address by Monday evening sometime. Just set a time in the morning and I will show up on Tuesday. I can find you via Google Maps, no problem. It's time to diagnose this truck and get to the bottom of things. I suspect it has more than one issue. We will do The List on it.

Killin me today. I pick that part up for the brake when I get home. Iíll pm you my address around 6-7 when I get off. Went to take the truck today because now I have road side, but still didnít even want to bother with it, the tranny sound is just obnoxious to my heart. My dad messed with the timing on the pathy, doesnít idle high but is a little gutless

sounds like he backed off the timing. set it higher and then set the idle slower. you shouldnt adjust the idle speed by changing the timing. it happens naturally but you set ignition then idle speed

That's cool that your folks wrench on cars with you though. My family hates that I wrench on cars while simultaneously neglecting theirs to the point of failure...

I'm pretty sure the only way my Dad's vehicle goes to a shop is on the back of a tow truck lol. There are legit oil leaks and other stuff that I first pointed out 4 years ago. Still leaking. But I'll screw it up if I need with it. I'm allowed to change the oil but that's it lol.
